Jane’s concern over Nicolette’s absence hits a breaking point next week on Neighbours, as a new face appears in Ramsay Street, Toadie’s life becomes more difficult, and a new face arrives in Ramsay Street.
1. Melanie is faced with fresh allegations
As soon as Rose Walker returned to Erinsborough, Melanie was put on high alert, and it didn’t take long for the two women to come to blows.
Melanie offers her help because Rose and Toadie are working together on the film festival. Rose instantly shuts her down, stating that she does not want Melanie working on the event at this time.
When Rose and Toadie leave the community center, they discover her car has been vandalized, with Melanie as the major suspect. But did she pull it off?
2. Harlow’s new job ruffles feathers
Harlow is sad that Chloe has returned to work at Lassiter’s, as it means she will have to return to housekeeping, despite the fact that she should be concentrating on her studies.
Paul has other ideas and swiftly constructs a position for her to fill, but Chloe is taken aback when she learns about it because the role will relieve her of many of her obligations.
The term nepotism is quickly used, and Terese expresses her dissatisfaction with Paul’s actions without consulting her. Will Harlow have to resign from his current position?
3. Jane struggles to cope
Jane has found it difficult to accept Nicolette’s disappearance while pregnant with her granddaughter, and while she has been attempting to go on with her life, the burden becomes too much for her when she returns to work next week.
Jane is visibly agitated, and she vents her rage on Hendrix, who is filming sequences for the festival. She loses her cool and raises a hand to him when he ignores her warnings to cease doing it on school grounds.
4. Paul stands by Harlow
Despite Terese’s protests, Paul chooses to go ahead with his plan to hire Harlow, and it’s safe to assume it doesn’t go well.
While Harlow is clearly overjoyed to have landed the newly formed post, Chloe expresses her worries once more. Terese also expresses her displeasure with Paul for sticking to his guns despite her wishes for them to talk things over first. Is a new rivalry between Harlow and Chloe likely to emerge?
5. Amy, Levi, and Ned go on a triple date
Despite some difficulties, the poly lifestyle has been working out well for Ned, Amy, and Levi, and when the film festival arrives, Amy is undecided about which of the boys to invite. As a result, she does the only reasonable thing and invites both of them to be her date.
While they all want to have a nice time in public as a trio, Levi is quickly summoned when he receives word that someone has arrived to visit him in Erinsborough.
6. Is Jane’s job on the line?
Hendrix is taken aback by Jane’s rage, but given everything she’s going through, he decides to keep what happened to himself. When a guilty Jane is unable to disguise what she did for long, his decision becomes meaningless.
Jane quickly admits what happened and expresses her willingness to accept any punishment Susan may impose. Is Jane’s time at Erinsborough High coming to an end, and will she have the support she needs to deal with her daughter’s unexpected departure?
7. Toadie and Rose grow closer
Toadie and Rose discovered they shared a mutual fondness for playing pranks the last time they spent time together – and the prank war will erupt again next week when they spend more time together.
But their rivalry has a history of spiraling out of control, and while they try to out-prank one other, they have no idea that it’s about to have a negative influence on Melanie, who ends up in the hospital as a result of a series of tragic circumstances.
8. Evelyn’s arrival causes some problems
When Levi’s mother Evelyn arrives on Ramsay Street, the Cannings greet her warmly, but it soon becomes evident that her entrance has caused some problems. For one thing, Levi knows she won’t approve of his poly relationship with Amy, so he tells her he needs to take a break.
In the meantime, Evelyn and Sheila are having some issues, and their reunion is not going well. What has Sheila done to sway Evelyn’s opinion?
9. Toadie finds himself in a tough spot
Toadie rushes to Melanie’s side when she is admitted to the hospital as a result of his latest prank fight with Rose. Despite his attempts to blame himself and be present for her, the tragedy appears to have caused significant damage to the film festival, which is on the edge of becoming an insured disaster.
Rose makes it plain that she needs Toadie’s aid to clean up the mess, and he’s forced to choose between the two women — how will Toadie get out of this one?
10. Will Levi lose Amy?
Levi wants to be there to help Amy through the film festival since things didn’t go as planned at the start, but with Evelyn there, he can’t. When he sees Ned standing by her side, he starts to worry that his decision to take a step back may cost him their relationship.
Will Levi opt to let her leave, or will he realize that telling his mother the truth is the best course of action?
