Exclusive: As their characters go through a bullying trauma, Coronation Street star Antony Cotton has revealed his endearing nickname for his cherished co-star Samia Longchambon.

Favorite cast member Antony Cotton of Coronation Street has shared his endearing monicker for his close co-star Samia Longchambon.

ITV viewers haven’t been able to take their eyes off of bully Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) at Weatherfield High School for the previous few months. Since the student first came on the Street, viewers have witnessed Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) and Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) being terrorized by him.

Mason has gained quite the reputation both within and outside the school after months of harassing his classmates. Dylan and Mason’s relationship has been growing more tense as Liam’s dark side deepens as a result of daily bullying.

But the brutality of the Masons isn’t limited to the kids; the Sean Tully star has forewarned viewers that subsequent episodes would likely spark a heated debate over their kids’ safety.

The TV favorite discussed how challenging it has been to film heated moments with Samia as their characters spar in an interview with Daily Star and other publications. “I adore Samia, I love Samia so much,” he said, referring to Samwise Gamgee as he calls her.

“I’ve enjoyed working with her, and naturally, Seana and Maria get along well. Sean enjoys having his hair done, and Maria works as a hair stylist. But when Liam takes a turn for the worse, their friendship will come under scrutiny.

He continued, saying, “But here is where it all goes wrong when it comes to the kids. You hear about family disputes centered around children.

<strong>Samia and the actor have been good friends for a long time<strong>

And the reason, in my opinion, is that while one regards them as their priceless angel, the other may be more aware of the reality. Thus, I believe that’s partially what’s going on with Sean and Maria.

“It is beyond my control whether or not they will be able to get back together.” The soap opera actress continued by assuring viewers that although it would take some time for them to go over the terrible bullying experience that the kids went through, they will eventually become friends again.

“But listen, Sean’s everyone’s friend,” Antony argued. Therefore, I think everything will work out in the end, but it will probably take us a year to get there. Samia continued by expressing her hopes that the two will one day mend their friendship.

<strong>Their characters will engage in a heated on screen argument<strong>

“It does affect her and Sean’s friendship,” she clarified. Apart from the time she was with Marcus, Sean’s boyfriend, years ago, Maria and Sean have always gotten along.

However, their connection has been really decent ever since. Since Sean is still adamant that young Dylan is not at all at fault, this obviously has a significant impact on their relationship.

“However, I believe that in due course he will discover the reality, and ideally they will be able to move on.” To find out if the close friends can still be buddies on the cobbles, viewers will have to tune in.
