Alya (Sair Khan) decides and wants to try her best to secure her grandmother Yasmeen, who has been harassed for months by Geoff.
In the coming episodes, we are going to see Alya starting to learn Geoff's true colors after hearing that Yasmeen (Shelley King) was upset at home.
Eileen Grimshaw reminds Alya of the moment Geoff (Ian Bartholomew) kept Yasmeen in his magic box. Alya discovers he's even abused her by writing indirectly nasty online reviews of her Speed Daal work.

New spoilers on Coronation Street's official website have now announced that Alya is going to take action next week, desperate to protect Yasmeen in any way she can. Visiting Yasmeen at home, Alya starts packing her things in a bag so that she can get away from Geoff a.s.a.p. The big question is whether, after so long under Geoff's control, Yasmeen would agree with this. Alya is also visiting the police station, accompanied by Toyah Battersby, for moral support. She lets the police know that Geoff is manipulating Yasmeen, but are they going to help Yasmeen?
