Coronation Street, Carla Connor, is hiding a big secret. Corrie fans will know that Carla, played by Alison King, went missing last year as she suffered a breakdown. But now it seems to have been solved with Carla back on the cobbles and pleased with Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne)
But Corrie’s boss, Iain MacLeod, has revealed that this plot will be surprisingly revisited later this year. The show is planning a new revelation of what happened during Carla’s time away.

Coronation Street bosses are currently suspending the filming of the show due to the coronavirus pandemic lockdown. It is thought that there is enough episode of the soap filmed to last until the summer. Corrie actor Andy Whyment, who plays Kirk Sutherland, said this week that episodes would last up to the beginning of July currently.
