Coronation Street’s Yasmeen Metcalfe continues to question her future with her abusive husband Geoff this evening (April 8).
Yasmeen (Shelley King) has struggled to forgive Geoff after he looked at his laptop and found that he was texting the escorts behind her back.
She even caught him for lying about their plans for a trip to Spain, realizing that he never wanted to go. In the episode of Wednesday, Yasmeen goes out of the house without informing Geoff to attend a meeting with the police.
Yasmeen has agreed to submit Clare’s Law, which allows every member of the public the right to ask the police if their partner may pose a threat to them.
Yasmeen visits the police at the community center, trying to know the whole story of Geoff’s arrest for fear. After an altercation with a previous partner, Geoff found himself in trouble, although he had already tried to play down the incident in conversations with Yasmeen.
Unsurprisingly, it differs from the way manipulative Geoff had described it when the police give Yasmeen the details that she is looking for. After seeing the police, will she head home to Geoff?
