The EastEnders crew is planning to mark the 35th season of the soaps, but it's hit a bit of a hitch.
The actual anniversary date is February 19th, which falls on a Wednesday, a day that Eastenders does not air.
Four unique episodes are airborne that week, typically on scheduled days, but one episode is getting a new date.
For the week that's in it, the executives wanted to make sure that the episode aired on Friday, February 21st wasn't going to interfere with Coronation Street, so instead of the normal 7.30pm time, the end of the special screened at 8.30pm.
Mike and Linda are struggling to save their marriage, and in an attempt to rekindle their romance, they decide to organize a boat party.
As is always the case in soapland, the events will not go according to schedule and threaten the lives of everyone on board.
Linda had been struggling with alcoholism that even put little Ollie in danger, and Mick wasn't really in the mood to celebrate. The specials will also see the return of Peter Beale (with a new look / actor) and Keanu Taylor, who will try to settle his rivalry with the Mitchells one way or the other. The specials will jump between the drama unfolding on the boat and all the events taking place in the square, which will also include a massive showdown.
