Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) may have finally gotten her paws on Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) in EastEnders, but she’s not finished yet when she takes steps to permanently remove Linda (Kellie Bright) from Mick’s life in upcoming episodes.
Linda was unhappy to discover a friendship had been built between Mick and Janine when Janine came forwards to console Mick as he struggled throughout the ceremony, which surprised the inhabitants of Albert Square. Mick ultimately disclosed to Linda that he and Janine were dating, and the two of them went on vacation with Ollie (Harry Farr).
Janine is disturbed to discover Linda has started working behind the bar at Queen Vic when they return from their vacation. As far as she’s concerned, it’s a little too close for comfort — will working with Linda every day remind Mick of the nice times he used to have with his wife?

Janine tries to persuade Mick that if Linda starts drinking around him, Ollie will be in danger. She believes that it’s a safety problem, and she persuades him to speak with Linda about whether she should be working in the pub at all.
When Nancy (Maddy Hill) and Zack (James Farrar) announce the news that they’ve discovered a restaurant to buy, Janine tries to irritate Linda by opening a bottle of champagne in front of her.
Will Janine’s seduction succeed in luring a depressed Linda back to the bottle?
