EastEnders star Jake Wood, 47, impresses fans with his VERY toned physique as he reveals he’s been using exercise to get him through lockdown

Since accepting fitness during lockout, Jake Wood has left his fans and celebrity followers fascinated with his very toned physique. The 47-year-old EastEnders actor took to Instagram on Tuesday to post a shirtless photo of posing in his home while flexing his muscles. Jake revealed using exercise to ‘get him through’ the COVID-19 lockout to hold him optimistic.

Sharing the toned snap and a picture of himself running in an idyllic forest, he said: ‘Good everyone on Tuesday. I guess it’s fair to say meditation gets me through this ‘Be happy and I’m looking forward to seeing you all on the other side.’

The snap made a huge mark on Jake’s 88.7 K fans and celebrity pals as they flocked to the comments section to express their opinions. Dan Osborne, who is married to Jacqueline Jossa – who used to play Jake’s daughter Lauren Branning on-screen, put: ‘Looks incredibly good buddy!! Fully done! Dean Gaffney, former EastEnders co-star of Jake, who played Robbie Jackson, commented: ‘Damn,’ followed by three clapping hand emojis. Although iconic Walford fellow, Cliff Parisi, who played Minty Peterson, said: ‘Go on Jake,’ followed by emoji thumbs up. In an effort to keep people focused, Jake posted daily fitness and shirtless snaps of himself during the lockdown. He posted a photo of himself running in an idyllic country field earlier this week, he penned: ‘It’s a lovely day out there people. Stay optimistic, keep healthy.’
