The bosses of Emmerdale are preparing for an exciting spring with the signing of two new faces to the soap.
Later this year, seasoned actors will be part of explosive storylines, adding to the never-ending drama in the Dales.Producers also announced that Corrie Actor Reece Dinsdale (who portrayed Gail Rodwell's ex hubby Joe McIntrye) is one of the new signings, as is Murphy's Law actor Anthony Womack, who is due to actor as an antagonist.This follows the killing of Graham Foster and the imminent departure of Pete Barton, who is played by Anthony Quinlan.
Series producer Laura Shaw says she's' absolutely thrilled' with the recent additions, attaching that their characters will' come with huge articles that will see life has changed and big explosions in 2020.' While the barest minimum has also been revealed, we know that Mark is set to play DI Malone, a police officer with a dark history. In the meantime, Reece will bring to life a character named Paul who once knew Mandy Dingle pretty well – much to Vinny's irritation!Commenting on his new role, Mark said he's looking forward to playing a baddie and enjoying viewers watching his ' twisted story unfold on film. '
Reece, who previously directed a few episodes of Emmerdale, says that he can't wait to be part of the team again – albeit in a different capacity. ' We have a feeling that this is going to be good!
