EMMERDALE native Bob Hope may not have the greatest of luck when it comes to marriages, but it seems that someone else is interested in the new lady that he has placed his sights on.
Wendy Posner (played by Susan Cookson) didn't have the warmest reception from Emmerdale viewers or people in the village. Except for one person who has also battled her corner and told Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) how she was. However, it seems Bob will be left disappointed in the forthcoming scenes.
Since getting a job at a local medical practice, Wendy relocated into the Dales a few months ago.
But her first few weeks did not go smoothly when Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) and her conservative relatives challenged her.
Many of the Dingle's and Sugden's were predictably uncomfortable about Wendy's involvement-after all; she's the mother of Lee Posner (Kris Mochrie), the guy who abused Victoria. Recent show reports have shown in the scenes ahead whether Wendy is going to make a start with Victoria.​

In recent weeks, Emmerdale fans have seen passion blossom between Victoria and Luke Posner (Max Parker), seeing a step in Victoria's cottage for their first date.
The two will be spending more time together after a slight hiccup, and Victoria sees this as a perfect opportunity for Wendy to look after Harry's son.
Wendy is delighted by the idea, leaping at the opportunity and running off with her grandson.

Shots from recording revealed Wendy beside Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) at the Woolpack.
Over the past few weeks, the latter hasn't been around, which eagle-eyed viewers knew and had to talk to Twitter about.
But nevertheless, as it is seen carrying baby Eve, he is back and being the doting guy of the household.
Wendy and Harry are playing with Bear and Eve and enjoying an afternoon together.
