He has played clean-cut Hunter King from 2014 to 2018 on the iconic Aussie soap, Home and Away.
And passersby would have been forgiven for not remembering Scott Lee when he headed out on Tuesday for a barefoot stroll in Bondi looking utterly different from his soap days.
Since exchanging his clean-shaven look for a scruffy beard, the 27-year-old actor unveiled his hipster transformation.
Scott’s previously cut coif was covered with a black beanie, and he kept casual with a black top and beige shorts for the rest of his outfit.
Proving relaxed with his surroundings, given the winter weather, the former TV star has gone barefoot.
Scott seemed to be in high spirits during his low-key outing as he smiled and chatted away to his friends.
Scott had his first major acting break playing troublesome but lovable teen Hunter on Home and Away, spending four years on the show.
His final storyline saw him end a fling with Christina [Jessica Clarke], his professor, leaving university and leaving town.
Speaking at the time of the final actions of his character, Scott said: ‘Nothing is going well in his life, so making the change might really help.’
Just like his character, after Home and Away had come to an end, Scott decided to leave town and try his luck at Hollywood.
He told TV WEEK previously: ‘I am excited to go overseas and reinvent myself. No-one knows what kind of actor I am, so I can start [over] and potentially have a shot at new roles.’
He has appeared in the Australia sketch series, Uber Driver’s Diary, as well as the sci-fi drama Bloom after he left the soap.
