General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will become suspicious Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has ulterior motives.
He’ll “confess” to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) he knows Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) was the SEC whistleblower, but Willow thinks there’s more to it.
General Hospital Spoilers: Shocked, But Fair
Michael reveals to Sonny in front of Willow and her mother that he is aware that Nina turned in Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and Willow is taken aback. Though astonished, she wants to be fair to both him and Nina because she knows Michael doesn’t like her. However, she is aware that there are always two sides to every story.
Furthermore, once she commits a transgression, she cannot undo what she has done. It is a fact that Carly and Drew engaged in insider trading when they discussed the planned merger.
The thing that concerns Willow the most regarding either Michael or Nina are their motives. Why did Nina turn Carly and Drew in, and why is Michael making so big a deal of it after it’s all over and done with several months after Drew’s release?
GH Spoilers: Nina Reeves Corinthos Confesses Too But To More
Willow and Sonny also find Nina’s admission to be more plausible; she blindly turned on Carly and Drew out of retaliation without realising he was off to Greenland. Despite Willow including her in her circle, she was scared they would never have a relationship before she passed away and that Carly had been interfering and keeping her away from her.
It turns out that she kept her secret even from Drew, as she had promised Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), who on her dying acknowledged Willow was Nina. Had the information remained a secret, Willow might have lost her life—had she not known that Nina was her biological mother, she would never have discovered that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was her great aunt.
General Hospital Spoilers: All Out Of Hatred And Revenge
Willow now approaches Michael, questioning why he believes Nina requires his approval to see the grandkids and herself—she is self-sufficient, after all, and he is not her guardian!
He shouldn’t be allowed to decide for her; unlike Nina, he isn’t acknowledging his spite. Instead, she should be given the freedom to choose whether or not she wants connections and communication. She can now plainly tell that he is not confessing his hatred and desire for vengeance.
Willow detests that her husband is proving to be more of a hypocrite than the individuals he accuses in the midst of a family feud. She currently feels more sorry for Sonny and Nina than she does for Michael or even Carly—at least Drew prodded her to act morally!
