Home and Away spoilers: Logan has a surprising mental health diagnosis for Dean

When Mackenzie (Emily Weir) sees how much Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) has been suffering from caring for Dean (Patrick O’Connor) at home after he left the hospital to complete his recovery, she suggests Ziggy remain at her apartment for the night.

Logan (Harley Bonner) reminds her about their date on her way to Dean, and she realizes she has entirely forgotten about it – but Logan offers to accompany her to the Farmhouse instead. Mackenzie, on the other hand, insists on dealing with this on her own, and goes to Dean, only to find him in agony on the floor…

Logan runs into a revived Ziggy in the morning and the two head over to see Dean and Mackenzie together. Mackenzie is having trouble getting Dean to take his pain medicine after a night with him.

Dean claims that the last time he used severe prescription medicines, he became hooked, and he doesn’t want to do it again. Logan intervenes and offers him some tough love, but while the two men converse, Dean discloses that he wishes the doctor had abandoned him on the cliff; everyone would have been better off without him.

Mackenzie is shocked to learn of the development, and Ziggy reveals that he was previously involved in a vehicle accident that resulted in the death of a friend.

Logan draws the connections and says he feels Dean is suffering from PTSD as a result of his many car crash experiences and past painkiller addiction…
