The Home and Away cast celebrate Emily Weir’s significant milestone with the sweetest messages

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: the cast of Home and Away is the closest group of people in Australian entertainment.

They’ve shown it again again by wishing Emily Weir a happy 30th birthday with the most emotional words.

Georgie Parker shared a bunch of photos of herself and Emily together on Instagram, along with a sweet message about wanting to celebrate together soon, despite the fact that both stars are now stranded in Sydney.

“Happy birthday, birthday girl, you’re a ray of light. “I hope you have a lovely day,” she wrote, “and when we can go out on the town again, we’ll be doing this

Sam Frost reshared a video from Laura Vazquez, the makeup artist for Home and Away and a close friend of the cast.

Emily is all dolled up in the video, strutting and posing like a catwalk model.

“Happy Birthday to this beautiful queen @WEIR.EMILY,” Sam wrote.

“You’re the most funny and wonderful woman we’ve ever met, and we adore you.”

Laura’s page featured videos and a collage of Emily, along with a touching message.

“Wishing you a very happy birthday, my lovely @weir.emily.” I can’t express how much our friendship means to me in words. I wish you a very wonderful day since you are genuinely one of a kind.

“I wish I could have been there to congratulate you. Laura wrote, “I love you so much.”
Ethan Browne also sent a greeting to his good friend, with a photo of the two of them on set with the phrase “Happy birthday homeslice.”

Emily spoke to Stuff in New Zealand a few weeks before her birthday about portraying her character Mac’s drinking.

The performer, who has been clean for a few years, discussed how she understands her character’s situation.

She told Stuff, “I’ve been that girl at those events.”

“I’ve used alcohol to dull my anguish, and I consider it a huge honor to be able to translate that experience into my acting. It’s actually extremely soothing if done well, and I was quite thrilled to work on that narrative.”

The filmmakers had no idea Emily had suffered with her own sobriety when she was handed her narrative, but it didn’t stop her from wanting to learn more about it.

“It was just one of those topics that was never discussed.

“It wasn’t as if I was attempting to conceal it. It wasn’t anything we discussed, to be honest “she clarified

“So it was fascinating to read a storey about my sobriety, how booze and I were not friends, and how I went to AA.

“‘Are you going to be OK?’ the producers inquired. We have the ability to alter (the plot)’. ‘Absolutely not,’ I said. This is one of the stories I can tell’, “She had completed her task.
